Israel said its forces would stay in five strategic points in southern Lebanon along its northern border. 

The Israeli army must fully withdraw from Lebanon on Tuesday under the terms of the Hezbollah-Israel ceasefire agreement.

Israel has repeatedly violated the ceasefire with Hezbollah that went into effect in late November last year.
