Iranian documentary filmmaker appreciated for intangible heritage

TEHRAN—Iranian documentary filmmaker Mohammad Ehsani was appreciated at 17th edition of the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival (DMZ Docs) through receiving UNESCO prize for intangible heritage.
According to ISNA, the award was presented by the International Center for Information and Networking on the Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region (ICHCAP) under the auspices of UNESCO during the DMZ Documentary Festival in South Korea.
The director’s new documentary project on Baloch music was presented at the festival.
“Rakhsh Bar Naqsh”, “Tabriz: Images of a Forgotten World”, “Gonbad-e Mina”, “Lady of Urmia”, “Roozegari Hamoun” and “Water Will Take Us” are among the works of this documentary filmmaker.
The 17th “DMZ” documentary film festival began on September 11 and will run until September 17 . It was held in the demilitarized zone between South Korea and North Korea.
