TEHRAN – Coinciding with the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (AS), Akhlagh Cultural Center in Tehran is hosting the group painting exhibition “Timeless Love”.

The exhibition, curated by Seyedeh Masoumeh Hosseini, will run from February 4 to 10, Mehr reported.

In a world increasingly afflicted by injustice, insecurity, and humanitarian crises, the concept of a savior and the hope for peace and liberation have become a shared human aspiration. Inspired by this universal idea and held on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (AS), the exhibition presents 17 paintings created by a group of artists using oil and gouache.

The exhibited works focus on the concept of the Savior, while also reflecting aspects of the life and character of Hazrat Fatimah (SA) and the Event of Ghadir.

The artworks seek to express timeless and human concerns through artistic interpretation. The participating artists have produced their works with a contemplative approach, aiming to pay tribute to these elevated themes.

The exhibition features works by Farideh Varzdar, Samaneh Barati, Sedigheh Shahbeig, and Motahareh Shahbeig.

Seyedeh Masoumeh Hosseini is an illustrator, illuminator, painter, and graphic designer, holding a master’s degree in illustration. She is a member of various art associations, and a faculty member at Soore University.

Her professional record includes participation in 35 group exhibitions, the organization of three solo exhibitions, involvement in and leadership of 40 national and international painting workshops, and serving as a judge for numerous art festivals.
