IDRO, SATBA pledge closer ties to boost renewable energy development
TEHRAN- A meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mining, and Trade and Chairman of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO)’s Board of Directors, and the Deputy Minister of Energy and Head of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA), with the aim of strengthening joint cooperation and accelerating the implementation of renewable energy projects.
According to IRNA from IDRO, Farshad Moqimi, Deputy Minister and Chairman of IDRO's Board of Directors, at this meeting, referring to the organization's actions in the field of facilitation and construction of solar power plants, said: The Organization for Development, with serious targeting for the development of solar power plants and participation in numerous projects in industrial towns and various regions of the country, is seeking to solve the energy problem of industries through diversifying sources and using clean energy.
Moqimi, emphasizing cooperation and synergy between the two entities, IDRO and SATBA, considered the role of the industry sector important in the development of renewable energy and the implementation of related projects.
Mohsen Tarztalab, Deputy Minister of Energy and Head of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA), also at this meeting, emphasizing the necessity of strengthening cooperation and interaction between the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade, described the development of joint cooperation as essential for accelerating the implementation of renewable energy projects.
