Memorial Service Held for Anthony Quinn

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island Around 1,200 people attended a public memorial service for actor Anthony Quinn Saturday afternoon at the first baptist church of America in providence, Rhode Island.

The 86-year-old legendary actor best remembered for his roles in ****"Zorba the Greek"**** and ****"Guns of Navarone"**** died in Boston on Sunday, June 3.

He was privately buried Friday on the grounds of the Bristol, Rhode Island estate he shared with his fourth wife Katherine 38, and their two young children.

Quinn was the father of 13 children born to five women.

Quinn purchased the estate overlooking Narragansett Bay in 1995.

Born in Mexico in 1915, Quinn was an internationally celebrated film star and two-times academy award winner.

Over his lifetime he appeared in more than 200 films.

According to AFP, in recent years he earned renown as an artist, sculptor and jewelry designer.

Quinn's death was attributed to pneumonia and respiratory failure.
