First Seminar of Iranian Islamic Art Held

TEHRAN - The first seminar of Iranian Islamic Art will be held on Wednesday, February 20, through the efforts of the Art College, Tarbiat Modarres University, the Academy of Art and the cooperation of the Art and Az-Zahra Universities.
This seminar, which aims to describe and study religious and non-religious art and Islamic art as well as other subjects in Iran, will be held in Shahid Motaharri Hall in Tarbiat Modarres University from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Some 15 to 18 articles from the academic board of the universities of Art, Az-Zahra, Mashhad, Qazvin, Isfahan, and Tehran will be presented, and 40 articles in the form of 2 volumes of books will be published.
Works of researchers in the fields of Islamic architecture, calligraphy, and painting will be presented at the seminar.
