TEHRAN – The United States seeks to launch a cyber war against Iran in retaliation to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s remarks at the UN, says Communications and Information Technology Minister Reza Taqipour.
“After the president’s truthful remarks at the UN, the U.S. and other enemies of the Islamic system are seeking to wage a cyber war,” Taqipour said Wednesday.A computer worm dubbed Stuxnet has recently attacked the computer systems of some industrial plants in Iran.
It seems that the communications minister has made the remarks in response to the recent cyber attack.
Fortunately, the computer systems in Iran have high security and are impenetrable, “so they can not cross over our earthworks,” Taqipour explained.
