In an interview with JAVAN, Minoo Aslani, the leader of Iran’s women Basijis, says Basij’s approach is based on the conditions on the ground and needs of the youth generation. Aslani says we have decided to advance programs in compliance with the needs of society through a combination of traditional teachings and scientific studies. Today, the passionate youth should receive a kind of education which meets their needs, and in this regard the community of women Basijis has taken important steps, she explained. Aslani added a program which has been enthusiastically welcomed by young girls is sports activities including mountain climbing.
IRAN, in an editorial written by Mohammad Karami-Rad, member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, says the United States was making efforts to gain other countries’ consensus on pressuring Iran over its nuclear program, but the Islamic awakening in the world shadows the U.S. attempts. The article, entitled “A Leap toward Formation of the Islamic Middle East”, says the Islamic uprising in Egypt endangers the security of Israel and worries the U.S. The wave of popular uprisings have swept through Libya, and we are witnessing that Libyan leader Muammar Qadhafi is massacring the protesters. Political analysts have predicted that the Libyan government will collapse soon. The Islamic Revolution of Iran inspired people in other countries. In fact, the Iranian nation proved to the Islamic world that it can make progress despite all the pressure, threats, and sanctions, and Muslim nations realized that Iran’s achievements are a result of resistance. Therefore, they chose the path of resistance.
