VP advises foreign firms to avoid mistake of leaving Iran

TEHRAN – Vice President for Economic Affairs Mohammad Nahavandian has advised foreign companies to avoid the mistake of pulling out of Iran’s market, saying Tehran will shape its cooperation with foreign companies in regard to their current decision.
“In the long run, the decisions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in cooperation with foreign companies will depend on the level of cooperation and interactions they have with Iran in the time of U.S. threats,” Nahavandian said on Friday, Fars reported.
The remarks came in response to some giant companies’ decision to leave Iran in the face of U.S. threats to reinstate sanctions against Iran.
Nahavandian stressed that Iran’s economy has a big potential and big foreign and international companies should take advantage of the current situation.
He further said the giant foreign companies, as Iran’s economic partners, should firmly make their decisions on continuing cooperation with Iran.
