TEHRAN Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) in its statement here Tuesday condemned dissolution of the Turkish Refah (welfare) Party and violation of the Muslims rights in that country. A copy of the statement received by IRNA, referred to the most regrettable events of Turkey during the last few months, says that the dissolution of the Refah Party, once again divulged the hidden and evident role of the untrue supporters of the human rights.

In addition, the decision to dissolve the party has exhibited the inhuman role of those of leaning on weapons and their militarist policy which severely affected the Islamic nations and the true supporters of the human rights around the world. Campaigning against beliefs of a nation through the application of inhuman and atrocious techniques, have even in the earlier experiences in some countries proved futile; it can clearly be predicted that such practices in Turkey, will also be of no consequence except for augmenting an atmosphere of wide-spread aversion and indignation, the statement read.

The Islamic Human Rights Commission has expressed hope that the rights of the Turkish people be fully preserved immediately and that the world would not once again be a witness to yet another Algerian bitter experience in Turkey.
