Tehran-Moscow cooperation no concern for others

MOSCOW (IRNA) -- Russian Rus Abaron Export Company said on Monday that Moscow-Tehran technical and military cooperation should not be a cause of concern for other countries.

Rus Abaron Export said prospect of its cooperation with Iran is like that with other countries.
It said Russia has technical and military cooperation with Iran based on its international commitments, so it should not disturb other countries.
Russian news sources, quoting Deputy Head of Iranian Majlis Foreign Policy and Security Affairs Committee Esmail Kowsari, said Russia has started shipping S-300 air defense missile system to Iran.
Alexander Fomin, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Military- Technical Cooperation, on Wednesday said his country was determined to expand cooperation with Iran and that technical and military cooperation with Iran will have a positive impact on stability of the Middle East region.
He said security in the region depends to some extent on this factor. He added that technical and military cooperation between Russia and Iran will expand in view of international conditions.
Russian officials have announced that technical and military cooperation between Russia and Iran is within framework of the country’s international commitments and such cooperation will in no way tilt balance of power in the Middle East region.
