TEHRAN (FNA) - Iranian Vice President Parviz Davoudi on Sunday warned enemies against efforts to destabilize Iran, saying the country's instability is detrimental to the world security.

Addressing a forum here in Tehran, Davoudi said any enemy effort to destabilize Iran would leave a grave impact on the entire world, and cautioned that under such circumstances, instability would not be restricted to Iran's borders and would prevail all throughout the region and the world.
Elsewhere, he referred to the achievements of the Iranian people in different scientific and defense fields, and said today Iran is among the few world countries that has succeeded in acquiring nano and aerospace technologies.
""Today the Islamic Republic of Iran has proved its might and power to the world through its great achievements (and successful acquisition of) technologies specially in satellite and military fields, including (production of) Sejjil missile which is a military achievement…,"" Davoudi added.
Davoudi's remarks alluded to the successful test-firing of a new generation of ground-to-ground missiles named Sejjil 2 in May built by the experts at the Iranian defense ministry.
Also Iran successfully test fired a new generation of ground-to-ground missile called ""Sejjil"" on November 12. Sejjil is a two-stage missile that carries two engines and burns combined solid fuel.
Elsewhere, the vice president noted the recent presidential voting in the Islamic Republic, and underlined that the massive turnout of the Iranian people in the June 12 presidential election would increase the country's power.
Over 85% of eligible voters (equal to about 40 million people) came to the polling stations on June 12. Analysts believe that the astonishing figure shows unity and solidarity between the people and the Islamic establishment.
