Speaker says Majlis supports expansion of ties with Vietnam

TEHRAN – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Sunday that parliamentary cooperation between Iran and Vietnam will give a boost to their bilateral relations.

In a meeting with the new Vietnamese ambassador to Tehran Tran Trong Khanh, Larijnai said the Majlis is ready to support expansion of Tehran-Hanoi ties in all areas.
He stated that Iran’s high engineering-technical capability and industrial advancements could help increase economic-industrial relations between the two countries.
The Vietnamese ambassador also stressed the need to strengthen bilateral ties, saying Vietnam’s high-ranking officials attach great importance to relations with Iran.
Hanoi is willing to develop parliamentary, political, and economic relations with Tehran, he added.
Tran Trong Khanh expressed hope that Larijani will visit his country in the near future
