Karimi plays down transfer to UAE teams

TEHRAN - Steel Azin captain Ali Karimi played down speculations linking him with a move to UAE teams on Monday.

“I have not received any bid from Emirati clubs. I cannot talk about this until they send their official offer to my club,” Ali Karimi said.

Ali Karimi played for Al-Ahli of Emirates from 2001 to 2005. The former Persepolis midfielder nicknamed “Wizard of Tehran” also played for German giant Bayern Munich and Qatar SC
