Ahmadinejad arrives in Zimbabwe; to visit Uganda Friday

TEHRAN, April 22 (MNA) — President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Zimbabwe on Thursday for a two-day visit. Ahmadinejad will leave Zimbabwe for Uganda on Friday afternoon.

Ahmadinejad was scheduled to hold talks with Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe.
The Iranian president will open the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in the city of Bulawayo on Friday.
According to a report released by the presidential press office, Ahmadinejad will also inspect a tractor production plant in Zimbabwe.
During his stay in Harare, Ahmadinejad is expected to sign a raft of trade and cooperation agreements with his Zimbabwean counterpart, Zimbabwe's foreign minister said on Wednesday.
Iran and Zimbabwe have agreed to form joint ventures in the agriculture, manufacturing, mining and water management sectors, according to AFP.
Ahmadinejad will fly to Uganda on Friday afternoon. A meeting with Iranian businessmen in Uganda is among the president’s programs in the country.
