Unemployment rate lowered by manipulating formula

Senior principlist MP Mohammad Reza Bahonar has said the administration has managed to reduce the unemployment and inflation rates by manipulating the calculation formulas. He said based on the new formula, every person who works one hour a week is categorized as an employed person, so the reality about the unemployment has not changed and people don’t see any improvement in this regard.
Ahmadinejad’s remarks were not in national interests
Distinguished political activist Sadeq Zibakalam has commented that Ahmadinejad’s remarks at the UN have not been in line with the national interests. Zibakalam believes that the president’s remarks have only offended other countries’ leaders and turned them against Iran. He has also said the president’s remarks about the unfairness of capitalism are not something new and some radical and revolutionary leaders have made the same remarks over the past century. All nations know that the wealth is unjustly distributed around the world, but they may ask: why does not Ahmadinejad apply his formula to resolve the same issue in Iran?
No rift between reformist leaders
According to the Khabar Online, Mir-Hossein Mousavi, in response to a report by the daily ‘Resalat’, has denied there is any rift between reformist leaders. Mousavi has said the “Green Movement” has not any “godfather” and he always consult with other reformist leaders including Mahdi Karroubi and Mohammad Khatami.
Tehran gold market on strike
Reportedly, the gold dealers closed their stores in Tehran Bazaar on Saturday in protest at the enforcement of the value-added tax. The dealers say that the administration has not duly informed them about the details of the VAT law. According to the latest reports, the gold union members have reached an agreement on VAT with the administration on Sunday.
