Ahmadinejad says Iran, Zimbabwe can change global order

TEHRAN -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Saturday that Iran and Zimbabwe can play an active role in establishing a new world order based on justice and friendship.

In a meeting with Zimbabwean Foreign Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi in Tehran, the president also said Iran and Zimbabwe share common views towards regional and international issues.
Ahmadinejad called for boosting ties between Tehran and Harare, adding closer economic ties will benefit the two nations.
Pointing to the current economic crisis in the world, Ahmadinejad said the capitalist system is reaching its dead end.
The Zimbabwean foreign minister, for his part, said his country is firm to use all its potential to expand ties with Iran.
