TEHRAN – IRGC Navy Commander Ali Fadavi has said that the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are within range of the IRGC’s long-range defense missiles.

“Sepah’s surface and subsurface systems as well as ground-to-sea long-range missiles cover the Persian Gulf, the Sea of Oman, and the region,” Rear Admiral Fadavi said on Saturday.
It shows the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps’s power and preparedness to defend the country and repel any aggression or invasion against the Islamic Republic of Iran, he said.
He also said that Iran’s military might is not a threat to the security of the region.
“Iran’s power will promote the regional power in the Persian Gulf and create lasting security in this vital artery for the supply of energy to the world,” he noted.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the commander said the IRGC is determined to expand its defense ties with regional countries.
Regional countries are willing to hold joint military exercises with Iran, he said.
“Sepah has invited the regional countries to hold joint war games with Iran in order to promote lasting security and unity… and this invitation has been widely welcomed,” he stated.
Fadavi also announced that the IRGC will unveil some new defense equipment and military systems designed and manufactured by the Iranian experts in the near future.
