Kabul diplomat thanks Iran for positive policy on Afghanistan

TEHRAN – Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Javid Loddin has expressed gratitude for Tehran’s positive policy toward Afghanistan and the assistance that Iran has provided to the Afghan people over the past three decades.

The Afghan diplomat made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on Sunday.
Salehi said that Iran is ready to help the Afghan people maintain their national security and develop their country.
He also called for expansion of relations between the two countries in the economic and political spheres.
At the end of the second conference on Iran-Afghanistan consular cooperation which was held in Tehran on Sunday, Hassan Qashqavi of Iran’s Foreign Ministry and Javid Loddin signed a memorandum of understanding.
The agreement envisages the promotion of friendly interactions between the two nations and the facilitation of travels between the two countries.
