TEHRAN -- The Judiciary spokesman said on Monday that no time has yet been set for the trial of Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian that has been arrested in Iran for espionage charges.

Qolamhossein Mohseni Ejei said that the case is under study but he is not aware if the court is going to be held openly or behind closed doors.

In another part of his statements, Mohseni Ejei pointed to recent statements by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on corruption and said, “What the Supreme Leader said was right and all must act according to it.”

“For example, land grab was mentioned,” he said.

He said a major factor that has contributed to land grabbing is the large number of organizations responsible for permitting construction.

The case is also true for the banking system in its own way, where steady monitoring is required, he stated.
