Iran basketball team will participate in two international tournaments to prepare for the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship.

Iran will take part in the China international tournament which will be held from July 27 to August 1 in the country.

Team Melli will also participate in the William Jones Cup from August 29 to September 6 in Taiwan.

The 2015 FIBA Asia Championship will be held in Changsha-Hunan, China from September 23 to October 3.

The winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics, while the Silver and Bronze medalists will go under the FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament, as stated by FIBA and the IOC in qualification quota.
