Two swimmers represent Iran at FINA World Championships

Tehran - Two Iranian swimmers will leave Tehran on Wednesday to participate at the 16th FINA World Championships.

The competitions started on July 24 in Kazan, Russia and will run until August 9.

Jamal Chavoshifar in 50m and 100m breaststroke and Arya Nasimi Shad in 100m and 200m breaststroke event will represent Iran in the prestigious competition.

“We have no chance to win medal in the tournament but it helps our swimmers improve their records,” Iran swimming coach Khashayar Hazrati told Tehran Times.
