TEHRAN - The Iranian government spokesman has said that “promising” news will soon be released about Iran’s advisory role in the fight against terrorist groups in the region, the Qatreh news website reported.

In answer to a question about how Iran’s advisory role and Russia’s airstrikes in Syria have overlapped, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht said, “We have announced that we help Syria at the advisory level.”

On the same day, Majlis Defense Committee chairman Esmail Kosari said, “Iranian advisors will not leave Syria until they have buried Saudi hirelings.”

“Our advisors have mission to leave Syria only once they have buried Saudi hirelings who are members of Daesh,” he stated.

Speaking in response to recent statements by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir who had accused Iran of interference in Syria, Kosari said Iran will stand by the Syrian people and government with pride.
