TEHRAN - The Guardian Council is going to announce its judgment of the e-voting software on December 1, the Interior Ministry elections headquarters chief Mohammad Hossein Moqimi has said.

Moqimi said that the council received the software for evaluation on November 22, IRNA reported on Saturday.
The e-voting hardware has already received the Guardian Council’s confirmation, he said, adding that the government has prepared the fund that is to go into holding elections through e-voting in one third of the electoral districts.

Elsewhere, secretary of the elections headquarters Ali Pourali Motlaq said at least 30 percent of the voters will cast their votes electronically.

He further said that electoral bills are each provided with 14 security codes which make them immune against replication.
