TEHRAN - 147 more parliament hopefuls who have been disqualified are given three more days to plea for a reconsideration, according to Hossein Ali Amiri, spokesman of the Interior Ministry.

The 147 candidates had been found competent to run in the election in the first and second rounds of investigations by executive boards and the elections monitoring team, but were later disqualified by the Guardian Council, he told the IRIB on Sunday.
