TEHRAN - “We did not put Aref in the list because we have no political relations,” said Majlis candidate Ali Motahari, who is the top figure in the Sedaye Mellat (Voice of Nation) candidate list.

“Putting me on the reformists’ list was made on their own request not me,” he said elsewhere in a news conference, Fars reported on Sunday.

On the creation of his group, he said, “We felt there were shortcomings in both (principlist and reformist) groups.”
