Iran’s export revenues from crude oil, oil derivatives, and distilled natural gas have exceeded $20 billion during March 21-August 23 period, according to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

The value of exported crude oil has been $8.2 million in the period, showing a 5.1 percent rise over the same period last year.
Revenues from export of oil products and distilled gas within the five months have reached $7.4 million.
The CBI has recorded total revenues of $4.6 million from swap of crude oil with gasoline and diesel fuel.
As the world’s fourth-largest crude exporter, Iran aims to boost the capacity of its refineries from the present 1.6m to 3m bpd based on a multibillion dollar five-year plan, which started last year.
