Iran to make animation “Companions of Ashura”

TEHRAN -- The Hur Institute has decided to make a long animation entitled “Companions of Ashura”, focusing on the companions of Imam Hussein (AS) who were martyred during the events of Ashura in Karbala.

The project is to be sponsored by the Experimental and Documentary Film Center and the animation will be produced in a series of 80 five-minute parts.

TEHRAN -- Film producer Morteza Razzaq-Karimi told MNA that Japanese film producers are interested in undertaking a joint movie project with Iran.
He said the film “Secret Feeling” by Mostafa Razzaq-Karimi was highly acclaimed by the Japanese when it was screened during the NHK Asian Film Festival in Tokyo in November.
Mohammadreza Forutan, Shohreh Soltani, Atila Pesyani and Hamed Behdad were amongst the cast..
