TEHRAN (Press TV) -- Iran’s Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki has expressed his country’s readiness to open an embassy in the capital of Brunei, Darussalam.

“Given the capabilities of Iranian companies in the oil and gas sectors, construction of factories, dam-building and auto manufacturing, Iran is keen on implementing joint projects with Brunei,” Mottaki said in a meeting with his Bruneian counterpart, Lim Jock Seng, in Tehran.
He called on Muslim nations to unite to counter hostile propaganda against Islam and Muslim countries in the upcoming meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference to be held in Dakar, Senegal.
“The OIC meeting is an important opportunity for Muslim countries to show the true image of Islam,” Bruneian foreign minister noted.
