TEHRAN – Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Chairman Alaeddin Borujerdi on Friday said a delegation of Canadian lawmakers plan to pay an unofficial visit to Iran in coming weeks.

“The Canadian delegation that plans to travel to Tehran in coming weeks include a number of Canadian lawmakers but this trip is unofficial and non-parliamentary… therefore their possible meetings are not related to the Majlis,” Borujerdi told the Mehr News Agency.
“If the Parliament of Canada decides to send a delegation to Iran, we will welcome them,” he added
