Iran sees 27% less car production in two months

TEHRAN – Iranian carmakers produced over 156,000 cars in the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20 to April 20).

This figure shows a 27 percent decrease compared to the figure over the same period in the previous Iranian calendar year.
This is while the deputy minister of industries and mines for industrial affairs, Mr. Danesh Marnani has been surprisingly quoted as saying, “Statistics indicate increase in production.”
