Iran-Uzbekistan trade value hits $650m

TEHRAN – The trade volume of Iran and Uzbekistan stands at $650 million which can reach $1 billion in the future, said the Iranian commercial attaché to Uzbekistan on Sunday.

“Iran is Uzbekistan sixth trade partner,” Fars News Agency quoted Seyed Mohammad Beheshtian as saying.
He announced that Uzbekistan, with a population of 27 million, is located in Central Asia and due to its common cultural background is considered as a great potential for Iran’s market.
