TEHRAN -- A strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities will stir a war which the invaders will regret, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari warned here on Thursday.

“Iran’s response to any military action would be such that the invaders will regret their decision and effort” Jafari said in a meeting held in memory of the Iranian military attaché Ahmad Motavesllian who was kidnapped along with three other Iranian diplomats in Lebanon by militiamen allied to Israel in 1982.
However Jafari said based on all the precautions taken it seems “highly unlikely” that Israel or the U.S. dare to take such military adventures.
Any military action against Iran will be the “beginning of a war”, the top commander warned
