TEHRAN - Iran’s diplomatic package has good potential which can improve the international community’s trust in Iran and establish peace and security in the region and the world, Japan’s Foreign Minister Masahiko Koumura stated in a telephone conversation with Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary (SNSC) Saeed Jalili on Thursday, the SNSC press office said.

Jalili said Iran’s package of proposals encompasses energy, security and economic issues.
Iran has presented a package of proposals which has many common points with the one presented to Iran by the world powers.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran believes based on the common points in the two packages and in a proper political atmosphere, a new round of constructive cooperation can be started with creativity and ingenuity” Jalili emphasized.
Masahiko Koumura said Japan supports constructive talks between Iran and the 5+1 group, stating that Japan hopes the new round of negotiations would benefit all parties.
