Hosseini calls U.S. senator allegations “unethical, shameful”

TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said here on Saturday U.S. Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s recent allegations against Iran are as “unethical and shameful”

Such remarks only indicate his spiteful thoughts that are used in U.S. foreign policy.

Denouncing these comments, Hosseini expressed regret over such illogical reasoning.

According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hosseini said politicians who hold the fates of a civilization in their hands should mind their words.

Two civilized nations of Iran and the U.S. fully denounce such views and would remember them, he said.

U.S. republican presidential candidate John McCain on reacting to a report of rising U.S. cigarette exports to Iran said “It may be a way of killing 'em.”
