MOSCOW (RIA Novosti) - Russian oil companies could be involved in broad cooperation in Indonesia, the southeast Asian country’s ambassador to Moscow said on Friday.

Hamid Awaluddin said Russian companies were already participating in the development of oil fields in Indonesia, and that one had put in a bid for a new deposit.
“This indicates that Russian companies will be broadly involved in oil production in Indonesia,” he told a RIA Novosti news conference.
