Iran-Syria joint industry committee underway in Tehran

TEHRAN – The eighth meeting of Iran-Syria joint industry committee kicked off here on Monday and will run till Oct. 31.

The two sides are scheduled to set up workgroups to examine ways to enhance industrial and economic cooperation, IRIB reported.
The Syrian delegation is scheduled to meet Iranian Minister of Housing and Urban Development Mohammad Saeedikia and First Vice President Parviz Davoudi as well as to visit some large industrial units in Iran.
Syrian Minister of Industry Fouad Issa Jony heads the Syrian delegation.
Signing a memorandum of understanding and holding a news conference will wrap up the 4-day event
