TEHRAN – Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Mines (ICCIM) Chairman Mohammad Nahavandian and Moroccan Minister of Foreign Trade Abdellatif Maazouz called for the expansion of Iran-Morocco economic relations in a meeting in Rabat on Thursday.

They also studied ways to enhance and facilitate bilateral relations, IRNA reported.
Maazouz praised Iran’s progress in various fields and said Morocco is willing to use Iran’s experience in industry, energy, and car making.
Pointing to Iran’s potentials in energy, dam making, road construction, petrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals, Nahavandian said developing relation with Islamic countries is top on Iran’s foreign policy agenda.
“It is among our country’s principles to improve relations with Islamic states,” he said, highlighting the importance of African states.
He also expressed hope to develop the existing capacities through bilateral cooperation and urged the use of the regional situation to boost up economic relations.
International changes as well as global financial and economic crisis necessitate such cooperation, he concluded
