TEHRAN -- Iraqi President Jalal Talabani’s wife invited Iran’s TV comedy king Mehran Modiri to Iraqi Kurdistan, Fars News Agency reported on Sunday.

Hiro Ibrahim Ahmed invited Modiri to acquaint the Iraqi people with his art during his sojourn and also to boost friendship between the Iraqi people and Iranians.
Modiri accepted her invitation and the official preliminaries of his trip are now in process.
She has previously invited Mohammadreza Shajarian accompanied by the Ava band, Homayun Shajarian, Shahram Nazeri and the Kamkar band to Iraq since there are many commonalities between residents of Iraq’s Kurdistan and Iranians.
