TEHRAN – Iran’s cabinet gave the green light for the signing of an agreement for free trade among Iran and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, announced a commerce ministry official here on Sunday.

Hossein Soltani-Nia told the Mehr News Agency that by signing the agreement the trade tariffs among Iran and the Persian Gulf states will be reduced to a minimum level.
The deal will also promote Iran’s trade with these countries by providing Iran with the same tariff conditions as those that exist among the littoral states themselves
