TEHRAN -- Iranian Minister of Industries and Mines Ali-Akbar Mehrabian and Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals Fawzi Hariri signed a memorandum of understanding here on Sunday to expand bilateral relations in industrial and mining fields.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Jalal Talabani, presidents of the two sides, attended the signing ceremony, the Mehr News Agency reported.
Mehrabian said that the Islamic Republic of Iran attaches special importance to the promotion of ties with Iraq.
Hariri accentuated the development of relations with Iran in different industrial fields.
Iran-Iraq relations have significantly enhanced in recent years through the all-out support of senior officials from the two sides
