Ahmadinejad calls U.S. renewal of sanctions on Iran ‘childish’

ASALUYEH -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday described President Barack Obama's decision to renew economic sanctions on Iran as ""childish,"" and a ""grave blunder"".

Ahmadinejad made the remarks as he inaugurated phases 9 and 10 of the South Pars in Asaluyeh, southern Iran.
U.S. officials ""thought that with childish and ugly behavior they could stop a great nation and its capable experts from moving towards accomplishment.""
On Thursday, Obama officially renewed economic sanctions against Iran which were enacted by then-President Bill Clinton in the 1990s
