TEHRAN -- The deputy managing director of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting said on Saturday that the organization plans to make a documentary about the unrest in the aftermath of the June 12 presidential election.

“The documentary should be applicable both to ordinary citizens if necessary and to political elites as well for analysis of political events,” Morteza Mirbaqeri told the Persian service of IRNA.
“The issue has great potential for discussion. We will definitely use experts’ views in making this documentary after the necessary groundwork has been prepared,” he said.
The unrest erupted after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was declared the winner of the election, which is disputed by his reformist rival Mir Hossein Mousavi.
