TEHRAN – Two Iranian auto manufacturing companies, Kerman Khodro and Rain Khodrosazan, will introduce Hyundai’s smallest car, i10, to Iran’s market in the near future.

The Hyundai i10 is a hatchback city car produced by the Hyundai Motor Company, launched on 31 October 2007, manufactured only in India, at Hyundai’s Chennai Plant and sold globally, reported Moj News Agency on Saturday.
The i10 was launched with a 1.1 liter I4 engine, the same motor used in the Kia Picanto. However, it produces less CO2 emissions than the Picanto. The i10 also comes with a 1.2 liter petrol Euro-5 compliant engine, with the same CO2 emissions as the 1.1 liter version. A 1.2 liter diesel variant is available but has not yet been introduced into the UK market.
The i10 has a large gaping air-dam, pulled-back headlamps, chrome-lined grills, integrated clear lens fog lamps, a hood that has a clam shell hint and a rear window line that has an upswept kink.
The tailgate has a chrome-lined boot-release handle and an integrated roof spoiler on the top end versions
