TEHRAN – Qom’s Friday prayers leader Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Amoli has said that political infighting will backfire.

The country needs spirituality and it should be managed in a spiritual manner, Javadi Amoli told a group of worshipers in Qom on Friday in a reference to the post-election unrest.
He added if a person believes that he was oppressed, he must react to the oppression through legal channels.
Elsewhere in his address, he pointed to the killings of Muslims in China, saying such acts will put China into a serious trouble.
He went on to say that tax officials must provide people with appropriate services in return for the tax they collect.
This way the inflation rate will be reduced and the people can stand on their own feet, Javadi Amoli added.
He also said the country’s welfare services will improve, if the culture of tax-paying improves.
