Tehran Times Art Desk

TEHRAN -- Selected works from Iran’s 6th Bismillah Festival will go on display in Rome from October 7.

The 6th Bismillah Festival was held at Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center in late August.

The exhibit was scheduled to start September 18 but was postponed due to a time conflict with Iran’s exclusive showcase for MPs, the secretary of the event Mohammadreza Kamarei told the Persian service of FNA.

A total of 130 artworks, which includes poster, calligraphy and logotype on the theme of Bismillah, will go on display during the exhibit, he added.

Works by several artists including Mostafa Oji, Mehrdad Keshti-ara, Ehsan Parsa, Fereydun Mardani and Mohmmad Abdolrahman will go on display during the event.

The exhibit will run in other countries including Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in the near future.
