Kiev(RBC) -- Naftogaz of Ukraine has denied recent rumors in the Russian and Ukrainian media of the company’s potential problems surrounding payments for imported natural gas in October, the company’s press office announced Monday. Naftogaz stated that it would “pay in full and on time for gas imports in October, just like it has in the previous months.”        The company also cautioned media representatives against using unverified data from unknown sources whose only goal was to cast a shadow over the partnership between Gazprom and Naftogaz of Ukraine, according to the statement.        Earlier, a number of publications reported that head of Naftogaz of Ukraine Oleg Dubina confided to Chairman of Gazprom’s executive board Alexei Miller that the Ukrainian company was experiencing problems with payments for Russian gas supplies in October.
