TEHRAN -- The 110-minute copy of Shahriar Bahrani’s “The Kingdom of Solomon” was submitted to the secretariat of Fajr festival.

The movie was scheduled for screening at the previous edition of the gala but did not arrive in time due to the length of time required to produce its special effects in Hong Kong, producer Mojtaba Faravardeh said on Sunday.
Musician Punk Chan from Hong Kong composed the music for the film’s soundtrack. The music was later recorded in collaboration with the Beijing Philharmonic Orchestra in China.
“The Kingdom of Solomon”, produced by the Farabi Cinematic Foundation, features the life of Prophet Solomon (as) based on the narrations from the Holy Quran.
The movie was shot in the Rustamabad region of Gilan Province last summer and was finished after nine months in production.
Actor Amin Zendegani is playing the role of Solomon (AS). Mahmud Pakniyat, Hossein Mahjub, Arjang Amirfazli, and Elham Hamidi are the leading actors in the cast.
