AHVAZ - Iranian super heavyweight class weightlifters refused to submit a drug test authorized by the Iran Weightlifting League.

After four lifters were banned for doping violations in the international competitions, Iran’s Anti-Doping Agency decided to monitor the athletes during domestic competitions.
Head of Iran’s Anti-Doping Agency Ramin Tabatabaei confirmed their refusal and said, “They (the lifters) didn’t allow our drug control officers to give them tests and this is illegal. We are allowed to test each athlete even in his home.
