TEHRAN - Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi has said the enemies should be aware that Iran’s Air Force is ready respond to any aggression and can prevent reconnaissance flights over the country.

Vahidi stated that the enemies “must be aware that the anti-aircraft batteries and the powerful Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran are well prepared to respond to any aggression with full force and prevent such reconnaissance missions from taking place.”
Through such missions, the United States is seeking to gather sensitive intelligence, Vahidi told the Fars News Agency on Saturday.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he stated that Iran plans to move all defense-related industries out of the capital.
“We have begun the process of relocating defense industries and plan to move the defense-related industries out of the capital as soon as possible,” the defense minister said.
He added that relocating an industry from Tehran is a difficult task to accomplish since the production lines must be in operation continually.
